How We Use AI
We use AI to help build this website and parts of the services we deliver. The EU AI Act says you have a right to know when you are seeing or hearing AI, and when you are talking to it. We agree, and we hold ourselves to it whether or not you are in the EU. This page lists every AI-generated thing on intelamation.com in one place.
1. What is AI-generated on this site
Video
Four short marketing videos on this site are AI-generated, including AI-synthesized narration: the wire-fraud dramatization (“Someone Is Watching”), the Private Cloud & Datacenter explainer, and the Reasonable Cybersecurity Safeguards briefing. Each carries an “AI-generated video” label by the player. One video — the FTC Cybersecurity Basics clip — is the U.S. Federal Trade Commission’s own public video and is not AI; it is credited to the FTC.
Images
Some leadership and staff photographs are AI-enhanced — currently Raymond Lorenzana, Edward Bowleg, and Logan Ramos. Other photographs, including our CEO David Levin and CTO Daniel Ramos, are unedited. Certain illustrative images (a hero image and some blog images) and video thumbnail frames are AI-generated. The weekly newsletter’s audio/podcast cover art is AI-generated as well. AI images are marked where shown, and listed here.
Voice and audio
Our podcast and audio content uses AI-synthesized voices, including a consented AI clone of our CTO’s voice created with his written permission. Every such recording is disclosed as AI-generated, both on the page and spoken within the audio itself.
Chat and phone assistant (Aria)
Aria, our website chat and phone assistant, is an AI. She identifies herself as an AI at the start of every chat and every phone call, and she connects you to a human whenever you ask. We never present Aria as a person.
Website and blog text
Some copy and some Insights articles are drafted with AI assistance and then written, reviewed, edited, and published by our team, who hold editorial responsibility for what appears.
2. Our rules for AI
- We label AI-generated media. Video, audio, images, and synthetic voices carry a disclosure; machine-readable marking is being rolled out.
- We clone a voice only with written consent. A voice is biometric personal data and we treat it that way. We will never clone anyone’s voice without their explicit permission.
- We tell you when you are talking to AI. Aria discloses that she is an AI, in chat and on the phone, and always offers a human.
- A human decides on consequential actions. In our security operations, AI recommends and a person approves before anything is done.
- We do not do workplace emotion inference. The EU AI Act prohibits inferring the emotions of workers; we do not build, sell, or use it.
- We publish what isn’t finished. Where our AI transparency work is still in progress, we say so rather than imply it is complete.
3. Data protection and your rights
Where AI processing involves personal data, we rely on an appropriate lawful basis under the GDPR, and on explicit consent for special-category data such as a voice clone. We maintain data processing agreements with our AI service providers. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time — see our Data Subject Access Request page and our Privacy Policy.
4. Conformance status
We are pursuing full EU AI Act and GDPR conformance regardless of where a given customer sits, because it is the stricter standard. The transparency measures above are live. Some elements — machine-readable provenance marking on every asset, and formal documentation such as records of processing and impact assessments — are still in progress. We would rather show you the state of the program than imply it is finished. The exact wording of this page is under review by counsel; nothing here is legal advice.
