Acceptable Use Policy
The activities that are and are not permitted on Intelligent Automation's website, services, and customer-facing systems.
1. Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") protects IA, our customers, and the broader internet community from harm. It supplements — and does not replace — any Master Services Agreement, EULA, or other agreement between IA and a customer. By using the Services you agree to abide by this AUP. We may suspend or terminate access to the Services for violations.
2. You Must Not
You must not use the Services to engage in, facilitate, or encourage any of the following:
2.1 Illegal activity
- Conduct that violates any applicable law, regulation, court order, or contractual obligation
- Distribution of content that is unlawful, defamatory, fraudulent, or that infringes intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights
- Money laundering, tax evasion, sanctions evasion, or the financing of illegal activity
2.2 Harm to people
- Threats, harassment, stalking, doxxing, or incitement of violence against any person or group
- Distribution of child sexual abuse material (CSAM) — this is reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and law enforcement immediately and without notice to you
- Discrimination, hate speech, or content targeting individuals on the basis of race, ethnicity, religion, national origin, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or veteran status
2.3 Harm to systems and networks
- Unauthorized access to any system, network, account, or data — including penetration testing of IA systems or third parties without prior written authorization
- Distribution of malware, ransomware, worms, viruses, trojans, or other malicious code
- Denial-of-service attacks, network flooding, or any activity that materially impairs the operation of the Services or any other system
- Probing, scanning, or testing the vulnerability of any system without explicit prior authorization (an authorized engagement under our cybersecurity service offerings does not constitute a blanket license for unrelated targets)
- Forging headers, packets, or any other technical information to disguise the origin of traffic
2.4 Abuse of the Services
- Bypassing or attempting to bypass authentication, authorization, rate limiting, or other security mechanisms in the Services
- Excessive automated requests (scraping, crawling) beyond what robots.txt and any documented rate limits permit
- Reselling, sublicensing, or otherwise redistributing the Services without IA's written authorization
- Using the Services to develop a product or service that materially competes with IA's offerings
- Sending unsolicited bulk communications (spam) of any kind — email, SMS, voice — using or referencing IA's infrastructure
2.5 Privacy violations
- Collecting personal information about other users without their informed consent
- Submitting another person's personal information to the Services if you are not authorized to do so
- Posting or sharing material that contains private personal information (medical, financial, contact information) of a third party without that person's consent
3. SMS-Specific Rules
If you participate in IA's SMS support program (855-533-5445), additional rules apply:
- Do not send messages on behalf of a person who has not authorized your access to their phone number.
- Do not submit, request, or transmit highly sensitive material via SMS — passwords, full Social Security numbers, payment card numbers, full account numbers, protected health information. Use our secure message portal or call us instead.
- Honor others' opt-out requests; do not attempt to circumvent STOP processing.
4. Reporting Abuse
If you become aware of any violation of this AUP, please report it to [email protected] with as much detail as you can provide (URLs, timestamps, headers, recipient details). We investigate every report.
5. Enforcement
IA may, at its discretion and without prior notice where appropriate, take any of the following actions in response to a violation: warning, content removal, account suspension, account termination, throttling, IP block, or referral to law enforcement. Where time permits and the violation is not severe, we will attempt to give you notice and an opportunity to cure before terminating access. We are not obligated to refund any fees in the event of termination for an AUP violation.
6. Changes
We may update this AUP from time to time. Material changes will be posted at this URL with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Services after a change constitutes acceptance.
